Dr shona leydon, SPECIALIST orthodontist

Dr Shona Leydon founded her private orthodontic practice in Clontarf almost 20 years ago. After working in restorative and childrens’ dentistry for 5 years she completed both a postgraduate Masters Degree in Trinity College Dublin and the Membership in Orthodontics programme in Royal College of Surgeons London in 1997 and is a registered specialist orthodontist. Her areas of particular interest are interceptive/early orthodontics, invisible braces in adults and children and jaw abnormalities.

She is a former Scientific Secretary of the Orthodontic Society of Ireland and currently an elected member of the Irish Dental Council. She has presented cases internationally and is a regular at American and European conventions.


Dr Siún Murphy, MB BAO BCH MRCS MD FRCS (Plast)

One of Ireland's most prolific female Consultant Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Siún initially trained  in surgery in Ireland followed by a Masters Degree in Vancouver. She then moved to Sydney, Australia where she completed a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery. She specialises in rapid recovery techniques for breast and body such as the vertical breast reduction, the drainless tummy tuck, mini tummy tucks with a special focus on ¡°mummy makeover¡± combinations. She performs some more discreet surgeries such as labiaplasty and upper eyelid lifts in her private office environment in the Blackrock Clinic under local anaesthetic. She also has a particular passion for non-surgical facial rejuvenation and for informing the public regarding safety when it comes to choosing a practitioner for procedures in Ireland, along with her IAPS colleagues.

Professor Caitriona Ryan, Consultant Dermatologist

Co-founder of the ground-breaking new Institute of Dermatologists in Dublin 4, Caitriona is bringing both the attitude and advancements of American dermatology to her new venture.  Board certified in the US and on the Specialist Register for Dermatology in Ireland. Having graduated first in her class in UCD, she trained as in St Vincent¡¯s Hospital and completed a dermatology residency and research fellowship at Baylor in Dallas, Texas. She remained on faculty in Dallas and was Vice Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas. In the past few years she has worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at the Blackrock Clinic and Hermitage Medical Clinic and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at University College Dublin.


Dr. Aisling O'Mahony Consultant MA, BDentSc, FDS(RCSI), MS (Pros), DDS

Aisling boats over 20 years¡¯ experience in restorative Maxillofacial dentistry and is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry (Prosthodontics) in St James¡¯s Hospital. After graduating from Trinity College Dublin, Aisling worked for several years in the Dublin Dental School and Hospital and then in private practice. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, FDS (RCSI), and also set up a private practice, Seafield Dental & Aesthetic, which specialises in cosmetic and general dentistry.


Ms Éilís Fitzgerald FRCSI (Plast)

One of Ireland' s most distinguished Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Éilís boasts extensive expertise having worked in leading hospital across Europe and has earned countless medical accolades over the course of her 18-year surgical career. Currently she is Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery and Surgical Specialties at UCD School of Medicine and in 2014 she set up the Fitzgerald Plastic Surgery clinic, in which she offers cosmetic and reconstructive surgery as well as minimally-invasive, non-surgical treatments. Éilís also holds a fellowship in sports and exercise medicine: this expertise informs an approach to perioperative care designed to ensure patients can integrate their procedures into busy and active lifestyles, and  gain the best functional results from their procedures. She is extremely passionate about providing proper, ethical medical care, no matter what the treatment.


Dr. Niki Ralph, Consultant Dermatologist

Co-founder of the Institute of Dermatologists with Prof Ryan (as above), with a specialist interest in inflammatory dermatology including acne, psoriasis and eczema. Niki is another graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons and completed her specialist training in dermatology in the Mater and Beaumont hospitals. Niki and is an MD, as principal investigator of a European Multicentre study on photopatch testing (2015 to date) . Dr.Ralph was appointed as Consultant Dermatologist to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in 2014. She is a member of numerous dermatological societies including the European Society of Photodermatology.


Mr David A.J. O’Donovan, MD FRCSI, FRCSI (Plast)

One of Ireland¡¯s most esteemed surgeons, David, a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons, specialised in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery working and training in Toronto, Miami and Liverpool. He has a special interest in cosmetic surgery, paediatric plastic surgery as well as ear reconstruction surgery, breast and skin surgery. A member of the RCSI for the last 10 years, the body responsible for training of young plastic surgeons. He¡¯s also the author of multiple peer reviewed papers and articles on a wide variety of plastic surgery topics. A member and past secretary of the Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons (IAPS) , David is presently the national secretary representing Ireland at the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS). Since 2004 he has been practicing as a Consultant and holds posts in The Hermitage Medical Clinic, St James Hospital, Our Lady’s Childrens Hospital Crumlin as well as The Blackrock Clinic.


Drs Jane & Katherine Mulrooney

Dr Jane Mulrooney (MB. BCh. B.A.O., BSc. Pharmacology, MSc. Clinical Dermatology) and Dr Katherine Mulrooney (MB. BCh. B.A.O, MSc. Clinical Dermatology, Dip. Dermatology) specialise in the treatment of ageing skin and cosmetic dermatology. After studying medicine in NUI, Galway, both sisters completed a master¡¯s degree in Clinical Dermatology at St. John¡¯s Institute of Dermatology at the St. Thomas Hospital London. MR Fuan Chan MD FRCSI (Plast)

A highly skilled, award winning, consultant plastic surgeon, who is on the specialist register in plastic surgery in both Ireland and the UK, practicing both at Blackrock Clinic and Beacon Hospital in Dublin. Fuan specialises in skin cancer surgery, trauma reconstructive surgery, breast and cosmetic surgery. He graduated from Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and completed his plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic higher surgical training in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland before going on to gain two international fellowships from world-renowned Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan and UCLA Los Angeles in USA specifically in reconstructive microsurgery, craniofacial surgery and Cosmetic Surgery. 


Dr Audrey Dore- Geraghty B.D.S. HONS.

A graduate of The School Dentistry in Cardiff, Audrey is highly qualified dentist with specialist qualifications in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. She is head of orthodontics at the well-respected Molesworth Clinic in Dublin. In addition to her dental practice, Audrey has been providing facial aesthetic treatment in the form of Botox and Dermal Filler injections to her patients for nearly a decade.


Jeannette Dunne RGN

Jeanette qualified as a general nurse in 1997 from St Vincent¡¯s Hospital where she completed specialised nurse training in plastics working with Dr Tom O¡¯Reilly and Ms Margaret O¡¯Donnell. After nearly a decade in the aesthetics industry, and following specialist training in filler and advance laser applications in the UK, Jeannette and her business partner, Sinead Gallagher, another RGN, opened up the first Renew Aesthetic Clinic in 2004. Some 13 years later the dynamic duo have a total of five clinics, which offer a broad range of skin and body treatments and a host of non-invasive clinical aesthetic options too.


Richard P Hanson (AFRCSI, MCh, FRCS (plast), E.B.O.P.R.A.S. Fellow

Professor Barry O'Reilly

Since graduating from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1991, Barry has put in almost three decades of hard work, which has earned him a world-renowned reputation as a leading consultant obstetrician and gynecologist.  His subspecialties are urogynecology and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery. Barry is a senior consultant, clinical professor, a founding member of Continence Foundation of Ireland, multi-published and advisor on numerous boards and committees. Mr John Curran Mch FRCSI (Plast)

With world-class qualifications and training in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery. John started his medical studies at the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland and went on to complete multiple reconstructive surgery fellowships in the UK and two
further fellowships at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, USA and Mount Sinai NY. John practices in most aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with specialist interests in skin cancer surgery, microvascular surgery, breast reconstruction and cosmetic surgery.


Dr Richard Lee Kin, Periodontist

Richard Lee Kin is a qualified periodontist and director of Mint Clinic, the newest periodontal clinic in Ireland. A fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in the faculty of dentistry and an international advisor to global research. Since graduation he has gained extensive experience working exclusively in the area of periodontics & implant dentistry.

Recently, he worked with one of the leading micro vascular surgeons in the world, Professor Hertzuler in Munich, Germany. He actively pursues his interest in microvascular surgery and the treatment of failing implants. His practice provides an exclusive, referral-only service.

Patricia Molloy, RGN

Patricia founded the DermaClinic in 1999 which is a multi award wining lasers and aesthetic clinic. She is recognised as one of the most experienced RGN’s in aesthetic medicine. Patricia is the Vice Chairperson of DANAI (Dermatology & Aesthetic Nurses Association Ireland) and also works with Merz Pharma as their Irish and UK Field Clinical Specialist guiding Doctors, Nurses and Dentists in the safe and effective methods of administering Dermal Fillers.  She has also presented lectures at IMCAS in Paris and at the FACE conference in London. She is frequently asked to appear on TV participating in Ireland AM TV3, Midday TV3, The Afternoon Show RTE and numerous radio stations.
